This is one of my favorite camping items. After I had some gear stolen it’s one of the first things I replaced. I’ve even taken it on international travel. It’s easy to use, just let gravity do the work. It requires some occasional back flushing to clear the filter. Both bladders can hold water without leaking but you have to be extra careful to seal the “dirty” one.

I love the Platypus gravity system, I use it for our group trips. Wouldn't go without it anymore!!! We use two of them for a base camp of 20+ people. I use to use the Katadyn hand pump, this is so much better. Get a collapsible 5 gallon bucket, and empty it in - works sweet!
